I pick up my camera to find the beauty in the simplest moments
I didn't learn photography in a studio. I learned it on the move, chasing light through unfamiliar streets and landscapes across the world, from the pastel alleyways of Busan to the coastlines back home, with no second take and no room for a wasted shots. That instinct never left. It's the same eye whether I'm on a construction site, at an event, or on a commercial shoot.

It started with family hikes.
Long before client briefs, it was Melbourne's trails, hiking with family, memories of chasing whatever was worth stopping for, that habit of paying attention never really left.

14 years behind the camera.
Long enough that instinct isn't a stretch, it's more muscle memory now.

Different medium, same eye.

Sneaking in pictures of my friends when in their element is an old hobby of mine, so portraiture is like second nature to me.

Off camera, I keep it simple.
Good company, good food, a nice view, same things I look for in a photo, I just don't always need the camera out for them.
